***RECENT GAME RECAP***

The Express's first full game of the season proved to be an exciting match-up between two DRS powerhouses.  The pitchers held court until the Express finally started the scoring with singular runs in each of the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings.  Lonsdale struck back with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and another in the eighth.  The ninth inning saw the two teams swap runs, catapulting the game into extra innings.  Nick Davis proved the star in the tenth as he hit a two-run homer to put the Express ahead before closing things out on the mound in the bottom of the inning.  Brian Muell gave the Express five strong scoreless innings to start the game, he collected eight strikeouts while allowing only four hits.  Offensively, Justin Bailey added a solo homerun with Nick Judkins, Chris Bell, and Dylan Thomas each collecting a two-bagger.  Up next for the Express in a non-league meeting with the Cannon Falls Bears on Friday at home.
